Kayne Rizvanovich Earns First Team Call Up With Minnesota United
Kayne Rizvanovich earned a call up to the Minnesota United First Team for their match against reigning MLS Cup Champions LA Galaxy.
Rizvanovich recently signed an MLS Next Pro contract with MNUFC2 after having played with the MNUFC Academy U18 side starting in January of 2025.
This is Rizvanovich's first call-up to the senior side and hopefully the first of many more. Congratulations to Kayne!
Kayne Rizvanovich Signs Professional Contract With Minnesota United 2
Goalkeeper Kayne Rizvanovich has signed his first professional contract, with Minnesota United 2 of MLS Next Pro.
Kayne joins MNUFC2 on an MLS Next Pro contract after having played with the MNUFC Academy U18 side starting in January of 2025. Prior to joining MNUFC Academy, the 17-year old goalkeeper player with both FC Cincinnati Academy and Chicago FC United Academy.
"Kayne has shown great potential and will continue to improve each day in other areas," said goalkeeper coach Cristiano Costa. "His experience with the U.S. U18 Men's Youth National Team last year highlights his status as one of the top young goalkeepers in the country. Chris Brady Named Man Of The Match Against FC Dallas
Chicago Fire Homegrown goalkeeper Chris Brady was named the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance in the club's 3-1 victory against FC Dallas over the weekend. This follows Chris being included in Team of the Matchday the prior week for his performance against D.C. United.
The win in Dallas came despite a heavily depleted roster for the Fire, with eight players unavailable due to injury and Kellyn Acosta leaving the game in the 31st minute with a non-contact injury.
Chris recorded his first penalty save of his MLS career late in stoppage time, wrapping up a fantastic four-save performance for Chicago.

Grasshopper Club Zurich GK And Switzerland Youth International Mark Mihaljevic Signs With Mag Mile Sport
Mark Mihaljevic, a 18 year old Swiss-American goalkeeper, has signed with Mag Mile Sport.
Mark is currently under contract with Grasshopper Club Zurich in Switzerland. In 16 matches with the U19's and club's 2nd team, Mark has kept 6 clean sheets and given up 1 goal per game.
Mark also has experience with the Switzerland youth national teams at the U16 and U19 levels, where he has gained experience playing against world powerhouses Germany, Italy, Spain and Denmark.

Carver Miller Signs With Las Vegas Lights
Carver Miller has signed a 1 year deal with Las Vegas Lights of the USL Championship.
Carver, a 20 year old goalkeeper and product of the D.C. United and Arminia Bielefeld academies, joins Las Vegas from Portland Timbers 2 in MLS Next Pro. There, he made 11 appearances across all competitions and kept two clean sheets, against Austin FC II and Ventura County FC (the second team for the MLS Cup Champion Los Angeles Galaxy).

Chris Brady Named To MLS Team Of The Matchday For Matchday 2
21-year old Chicago Fire FC Homegrown goalkeeper Chris Brady was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 2 following his five save performance in Saturday's 2-2 draw against D.C. United.
Brady earned his fourth recognition as a starting goalkeeper in the weekly MLS honor after denying D.C. United several times, most notably in the 80th minute when Aaron Herrera found a wide-open Dominique Badju in the six-yard box. The midfielder headed the point-blank shot onto goal but was denied by Brady on a reflex save.
Brady was called into action again seven minutes later, when 2024 MLS Golden Boot winner Christian Benteke struck a half volley from the top of the box that Brady was able to tip over the crossbar in spectacular diving fashion.

Owen Pratt Called In To U.S. U-17 Squad For CONCACAF Qualifiers
Owen Pratt, recent Homegrown signing of the L.A. Galaxy, has been called in to represent the U.S. U-17 Men's National Team for the CONCACAF Qualifiers to be held in Costa Rica between February 10-15.
Team USA will face the U.S. Virgin Islands on Monday, February 10, St. Kitts and Nevis on Wednesday, February 12 and Cuba on Saturday, February 15. The USA hopes to qualify for a record 19th FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will take place in Qatar this November.
This is not the first time Owen has called in to represent his national team. Notably, he was a member of the U-15 U.S. Men's National Team that won the CONCACAF Championship in 2023.

Owen Pratt Signs Homegrown Contract With Los Angeles Galaxy
Owen Pratt, a 16-year old goalkeeper in the LA Galaxy Academy, has signed a Homegrown professional contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy!
Owen was named the 2024 MLS Next Cup Best Goalkeeper after leading the LA Galaxy U17 squad to the MLS Next Cup. He trained with the U.S. Men's National Team at just 14 years of age and has represented the USA at the U15, U16 and U17 levels. He was a member of the USA U15 Youth National Team that won the 2023 CONCACAF U15 Championship.
Owen will join Ventura County in MLS NEXT Pro through the end of the 2026 season before joining the first team on an MLS contract beginning in 2027. This phenom has quite a future ahead of him!

Julian Cisneros has signed his first professional contract, with FC Naples of USL League One.
Julian was a standout defender at Loyola University Chicago. He started every match during his last 3 seasons at the school. He was named to the College Soccer News Men's National Team of the Week in October of 2023 and selected for the Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman Team in the 2020-2021 season.

Maggy Henschler, fresh off a stellar debut season in Sweden's Damallsvenskan, has signed a multi-year contract with 2024 Swedish Cup Champions Pitea IF.
Maggy's impressive journey from KIF Orebro to Pitea IF showcases the talent that made her the first female player signed to Mag Mile Sport. After joining KIF during the 2024 Summer transfer window, she started 9 matches, played the full 90 minutes in 8 of those, and netted 2 goals - one of which earned a nomination for Sweden's goal of the year, a remarkable feat for a center-back.

Isaiah Parente Re-Signs With MLS Champions LA Galaxy
Midfielder Isaiah Parente will return to the MLS Cup Champion LA Galaxy after signing a new deal with the club.
Isaiah joined the Galaxy in the middle of the 2024 MLS season, having greatly impressed in several matches with the Galaxy's second team, Ventura County. Isaiah made valuable contributions to the Galaxy in 2024 on the road to winning the MLS Cup against the New York Red Bulls.
Isaiah is accustomed to winning trophies as in his three years as a pro, he has won the MLS Next Pro Championship with Columbus Crew 2 (2022); the MLS Cup with the Columbus Crew (2023); and the MLS Cup with the LA Galaxy (2024).

Goalkeeper Carlos Herrera Signs With Detroit City FC
Goalkeeper Carlos Herrera has signed a multi-year contract with Detroit City FC of the USL Championship. Herrera joins Detroit City after spending two seasons with Monterey Bay FC.
In 2023, Herrera started 18 matches for Monterey Bay, compiling an 8-7-3 record with two clean sheets. In 2024, Herrera started nine matches, including eight down the stretch of the season, and recorded three clean sheets. He posted a save percentage of 81.4% last season.

Owen Pratt Named To U17 USA Youth National Team Camp
Owen Pratt, a standout goalkeeper with the LA Galaxy Academy, has been called in to the USA U-17 Youth National Team training camp.
The squad will gather in West Palm Beach, Florida, from November 10-16 as preparations continue for next February's CONCACAF U17 Qualifiers, which will send eight teams to the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup. The USA will face the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis and Cuba at the qualifying tournament, set for February 7-16 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
This is not the first time Owen has been called in to the youth national team setup. In 2023, he was a vital member of the USA U-15 Youth National Team that won the CONCACAF U-15 Championship.

Chris Brady Named Chicago Fire Defensive Player Of The Year For Second Year In A Row
Chris Brady was named the 2024 Chicago Fire Defensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row!
Brady, only 20 years old, earned Defensive Player of the Year honors for a second consecutive year. He has now been named the club's Defensive Player of the Year in each of the two seasons he has started for the club. He joins Sean Johnson and Zach Thornton as the only goalkeepers in club history to be named Defensive MVP in consecutive seasons and is the sixth overall player to be named Defensive MVP in back-to-back years.
In 2024, Brady made 107 says in 33 games played - all starts - becoming the sixth goalkeeper in club history to record more than 100 saves in a single season and the first to do so since 2012. He also recorded the most wins (14) for a Homegrown goalkeeper in club history after the club defeated the LA Galaxy on June 1.

Chris Brady Only GK Named To BODYARMOR 22 Under 22 List
Today, Chicago Fire Goalkeeper Chris Brady was the only goalkeeper named to the BODYARMOR 22 Under 22 list, which highlights the 22 best players in Major League Soccer under the age of 22. This was the second season in a row that Chris was selected on the list.
In his second year as the starting goalkeeper for the Fire, Chris started 32 matches, only missing 1 due to International duty. He made 104 saves, making him the first GK to register more than 100 or more saves for the Fire since 2012. He also became the winningest Homegrown GK in Chicago Fire history.

Maggy Henschler Scores First Professional Goal For KIF Orebro
Maggy Henschler scored her first professional goal in KIF Orebro's 1-1 draw against AIK over the weekend.
The goal came off a corner kick in the 88th minute with Orebro trailing 1-0. Maggy's run to the near post was perfectly timed, heading in the corner kick past AIK's goalkeeper. The goal was crucial as it ensured that Orebro did not drop points in its relegation battle against AIK. The goal kept Orebro above AIK and in the safe zone.
Maggy has been a valuable addition to Orebro's back line as they fight to remain in the Damallsvenskan, the top women's league in Sweden. She was signed by the club in August and made her debut as a substitute on August 25, 2024 against Brommapojkama. Since then, Maggy has started and played the full 90 minutes in the club's last 6 matches. She was also named the player of the match in her 2nd start for the club, against Kristianstad.
