— THE CROSSROADS

COLLEGE BASEBALL INTEREST · CHOSE SOCCER AT YALE

Mario Iveljic was a serious baseball player long before he committed to soccer full-time. His youth teams reached the Little League Regional tournament as 12-and-under Illinois State Champions and finished as State runners-up at 15. As a member of Thornwood High School's 1994 program, he played for a team that finished third in the State of Illinois — on a team ranked third in the country during the season, one of the strongest high school baseball programs in the nation that year.

With college baseball interest beginning to develop, he faced the decision every serious multi-sport athlete eventually reaches: continuing both at the next level was not realistic. He chose soccer at Yale. The experience of living through that decision as a teenager — and watching it shape every year that followed — is the perspective Mag Mile Sport brings to multi-sport families today.

That foundation, paired with attorney-level contract analysis and the firm's evaluation network, is why baseball representation sits alongside soccer and NIL at Mag Mile Sport. Not as a category we entered. As one we returned to.

Most agents have never sat in your son's seat at the kitchen table. Our founder has.

01

ATTORNEY IN YOUR CORNER

The MLB Draft involves slot values, signing bonuses, and contract terms that most families have never encountered before. Every agreement Mag Mile Sport negotiates is reviewed by a licensed attorney — not just an agent. Every clause analyzed. Every risk identified. Before you sign anything.

02

DRAFT PREPARATION & STRATEGY

The draft is not just one day. It is the result of years of decisions — about exposure, development, timing, and positioning. We work with players and families well before draft day to make sure every decision along the way is made with a clear understanding of its long-term implications.

03

SCOUT & EVALUATION NETWORK

Our relationships with professional scouts, evaluators, and coaches give us an inside perspective on how organizations actually evaluate talent. We know what teams are looking for — and how to position our clients to be seen by the right people at the right time.

— WHAT WE OFFER

FULL-SERVICE BASEBALL REPRESENTATION

— SIGNING BONUS NEGOTIATION — MLB slot values are a starting point, not a ceiling. We negotiate every agreement with an attorney's precision — protecting your bonus, your rights, and your future.

— COLLEGE VS. PRO DECISION GUIDANCE — One of the most consequential decisions a young athlete will make. We provide honest, direct counsel on the financial, developmental, and personal factors — without an agenda.

— MINOR LEAGUE CONTRACT REVIEW — Minor league contracts contain terms most players never read carefully — service time provisions, assignment clauses, release terms. We read every word so you understand what you're agreeing to.

— NIL STRATEGY FOR COLLEGE PLAYERS — For draft-eligible college athletes, NIL opportunities can be maximized without jeopardizing eligibility or draft positioning. We navigate that landscape carefully and strategically.

— DRAFT PREPARATION ADVISORY — Pre-draft positioning, showcase strategy, and communication with organizations — we help players and families understand how the process works from the inside.

— CAREER PLANNING & LONG-TERM MANAGEMENT — From signing day through minor league progression, we stay involved in every major career decision — always with a long-term perspective on development and opportunity.

— THE HARDEST DECISION

The Decision That Defines Everything

"A team calls on draft day. They offer a number. You have limited time to decide whether to take it or go to college. Most agents tell you what you want to hear. We tell you what you need to know."

The right answer depends on factors specific to your player — their development trajectory, the organization's history, the gap between the offer and the slot value, and what a college program would realistically offer.

We do not have a preferred answer. We have an honest one.

What is the offer relative to the slot value?

Which organizations drafted you and what is their development track record?

What college program are you committed to and what is realistic there?

What does your development trajectory look like over the next two to three years?

These are the questions that drive the right decision. We help you answer them.

COLLEGE VS. PRO

— RESOURCES

Baseball representation is one of the most misunderstood areas in all of sports. Most players and families go through the draft process without fully understanding what agents can and cannot do, what signing bonuses really mean, or what rights they have as a drafted player. We wrote the answers down.
