Mario was a serious baseball player long before he committed to soccer. With college baseball interest developing, he reached the decision every serious multi-sport athlete eventually faces — continuing both was not realistic. He chose soccer at Yale. Living through that at eighteen, and watching it shape every year after, is the perspective he brings to multi-sport families now.
