MARIO IVELJIC

Founder | Managing Director

Mario Iveljic is the founder of Mag Mile Sport and leads the firm’s strategic direction across soccer and baseball representation.

A lifelong competitor, Mario played high-level soccer in the Chicago area before graduating from Yale University, where he was a three-year starter for the varsity soccer program. After college, he competed for RWB Adria, one of the most successful amateur clubs in the United States, winning multiple Illinois State Cups and a U.S. Amateur Cup, while competing in the U.S. Open Cup against professional opposition.

In addition to his playing background, Mario is an accomplished attorney with more than two decades of experience negotiating and litigating complex matters nationwide. He brings a disciplined, risk-aware approach to athlete representation, combining competitive insight with legal precision.

Mario is a licensed FIFA Football Agent and a registered intermediary with multiple governing bodies. His work centers on career planning, contract negotiation, and long-term decision-making for athletes who take their careers seriously.

MATT PEARSON

Director of Soccer Scouting & Player Development

Matt Pearson brings extensive experience in player evaluation, scouting, and development across professional and academy environments.

Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Matt has worked at multiple levels of the game in Europe and the United States. He held senior scouting and recruitment roles with Chicago Fire FC, including Director of Scouting, where he helped build player databases, evaluate talent for the MLS Draft, and contribute to one of the club’s strongest competitive seasons in recent years.

Matt later focused on academy recruitment and development, helping identify and integrate players from diverse backgrounds into elite pathways. His work has contributed to players progressing to professional contracts and national team environments, as well as to championship-level academy success.

At Mag Mile Sport, Matt applies his scouting background to career strategy, talent evaluation, and player positioning — ensuring athletes are assessed realistically and guided toward opportunities that align with their development and long-term potential.
