Chris Brady Named Chicago Fire Defensive Player Of The Year For Second Year In A Row

Chris Brady was named the 2024 Chicago Fire Defensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row!

Brady, only 20 years old, earned Defensive Player of the Year honors for a second consecutive year. He has now been named the club's Defensive Player of the Year in each of the two seasons he has started for the club. He joins Sean Johnson and Zach Thornton as the only goalkeepers in club history to be named Defensive MVP in consecutive seasons and is the sixth overall player to be named Defensive MVP in back-to-back years.

In 2024, Brady made 107 says in 33 games played - all starts - becoming the sixth goalkeeper in club history to record more than 100 saves in a single season and the first to do so since 2012. He also recorded the most wins (14) for a Homegrown goalkeeper in club history after the club defeated the LA Galaxy on June 1.

Congratulations to Chris on this remarkable achievement!
