Chris Brady Plays Most Games by Homegrown GK In Chicago Fire History
Congratulations to Mag Mile Sport's Chris Brady for breaking records and making history!
With his recent appearance for the Chicago Fire FC, Chris has played the most games by a Homegrown goalkeeper in Chicago Fire history. This season, he has started all but one game for the Fire, with the game he missed being a result of a call up to the U.S. Men's Olympic Soccer Team Training Camp.
Last season, Chris started 32 games for the Fire across all competitions and was named the club's Defensive Player of the Year. He was also the 2nd youngest goalkeeper in Major League Soccer history to record a clean sheet and the 2nd teenager in MLS history to record 3 straight clean sheets.
Chris' talent has been recognized by Top Drawer Soccer, who named him the top overall prospect in MLS, and BodyArmor, who named him the top goalkeeper in MLS under the age of 22.
Signed as Homegrown Player with the Fire at just 16 years old, Chris has excelled at the U14, U15, U16 and U17 levels under Academy goalkeeping coach Igor Dimov. Chris was named the best goalkeeper at the 2022 CONCACAF U20 Championship and was named to the tournament's Best XI team. He was also a finalist for the 2022 U.S. Soccer Young Male Player of the Year.
Congratulations to Chris on this incredible achievement!
