Three Mag Mile Sport Players Earn Team of the Week Honors
Chris Brady was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday after posting a four-save shutout in Chicago Fire FC’s 0-0 road draw against the Columbus Crew on March 7. Chicago Fire FC’s official announcement noted that Brady earned the honor following that four-save clean sheet, and MLS coverage highlighted that he preserved the result despite facing strong Columbus chances.
At FC Naples, both Marc Torrellas and Julian Cisneros were named to the USL League One Team of the Week following Naples’ 2-0 win over Fort Wayne FC on March 7. Torrellas earned his place after recording one assist, completing 32 of 39 passes, adding five recoveries, and winning 3 of 5 aerial duels in the win. Cisneros was recognized for a strong defensive performance, finishing with six recoveries, one interception, winning 6 of 8 duels, and completing 22 of 32 passes as FC Naples kept a clean sheet.
